The 6th edition of the Future of Data Protection & Retention workshop (formerly known as the “Future of Tape” workshop) will take place at the IBM Research – Zurich Laboratory on 12–13 November 2015 in collaboration with IBM Systems.

At this two-day event, IBM will offer the expertise to help you tune your storage strategy to meet the needs of your business today — and into the future. This workshop has become one of the most important DP&R events in EMEA with about 60 participants, including more than 30 clients from 25 companies and institutions including HPC, banking and many other industries.

Expand your knowledge and expertise on key topics by attending technical sessions, trends & directions sessions, technology updates in a variety of formats such as lectures, client presentations, live demos and Q&A sessions.

Exchange ideas and interact with colleagues and competitors, leading-edge thinkers, technology gurus, storage researchers and business experts from IBM about emerging directions in storage technologies with a focus on data protection and retention.

Potential research directions and product improvement requirements will be identified and subsequently pursued by IBM research, development and business teams.
