Medical Informatics Innovation seminar 2014

Join us for a one-day leadership seminar on Innovations in Medical Informatics, to be held Monday, June 16, 2014 at the IBM Research lab, on the University of Haifa campus in Haifa, Israel. Lunch and light refreshments will be served. Participation is free but registration is required.

This full-day seminar provides a forum for care providers, researchers and business developers from academia, public health sector and industry to share their work, exchange ideas, and discuss innovative works-in-progress.

Medical informatics brings together health informatics, health I/T, and healthcare systems into applications for payers, providers, governments and pharmaceutical organizations. The seminar talks address current research directions and innovative approaches to medical informatics. This year, we will have a special focus on the role of big data analytics in transforming the vast amounts of healthcare data into the next generation of smart solutions and services that aim to improve human outcomes.

Participation is free but registration is required. Parking is available in the IBM parking lot following registration. Please confirm your participation by June 8, via the seminar registration page.

This seminar is co-located with the Clinical Genomic Analysis workshop to be held on June 15.
