You are cordially invited to participate in the Business Optimization and Operations Research Workshop, organized by the IBM Haifa Research Lab (HRL), Israel.
This one-day workshop features a unique gathering of academics and business people that are involved with research and practice in the field of operations research.
The workshop will provide an excellent opportunity for active Israeli researchers, practitioners and industry to share their work and exchange ideas. The workshop will furnish an environment in which issues, problems, work-in-progress, and research directions can be presented, discussed, and debated.
This workshop is part of IBM Service Science, Management and Engineering (SSME) initiative. SSME is a new multi-disciplinary research and academic effort that integrates aspects of established fields such as computer science, operations research, engineering, management sciences, business strategy, social and cognitive sciences, and legal sciences. The workshop will take place in the auditorium of the IBM Haifa Labs building on the University of Haifa campus, from 09:00 to 17:30 on June 24, 2007. Lunch and light refreshments will be provided.
