3rd International IBM Cloud Academy Conference

ICA CON 2015
ICA CON 2015, the 3rd International IBM Cloud Academy Conference, will provide an exciting opportunity for educators and researchers to share ideas and experiences in cloud computing. The conference is open to both K-12 and higher education institutions already implementing cloud technologies and services, or considering doing so.

The program will be derived from the refereed review of proposals, presently envisioned to include invited keynotes, technical papers, position papers, workshops and a technology showcase. The technical papers portion of the conference program will feature experience reports and original research papers. The technology showcase will feature poster presentations and demonstrations on cloud computing research or implementations in progress. Selected papers from conference proceedings will be published as a special edition of the International Journal of Cloud Computing (IJCC).

Budapest is the capital and the largest city of Hungary, and one of the largest cities in the European Union. It is the country's principal political, cultural, commercial, industrial, and transportation center, and is a significant global economic hub, classified as an Alpha- World city. The extended Budapest Metropolitan Area is home to some 3.3 million people with a wealth of museums, shopping districts and historical sites for the visitor. The Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME) is the most significant University of Technology in Hungary and is also one of the oldest Institutes of Technology in the world, having been founded in 1782.

We are therefore excited that BME, an important member of the IBM Cloud Academy, will be hosting this 3rd International IBM Cloud Academy Conference in 2015. ICA CON 2015 will be an excellent venue for presenting original work, exchanging new ideas, embracing cloud technologies, sharing results and experiences, and networking with other leading institutions globally who are also already implementing cloud solutions.
