The Haifa facility of the IBM R&D Labs in Israel, located on the campus of the University of Haifa on Mount Carmel, is the home of the IBM Research - Haifa and several teams of developers from the IBM Israel Software Lab (ILSL). Since it first opened as the IBM Scientific Center in 1972, the IBM R&D Labs in Israel have conducted decades of research that has been vital to IBM's success.
