IBM Announces Behavioral Biometric Solution from Trusteer & CCoE
Financial services is one of the top three targeted industries for cybercrime organizations, who develop malware and social engineering techniques to target financial websites and customers, typically aiming to obtain credentials so as to take over user accounts. Using technology developed by IBM Trusteer in partnership with the IBM Cybersecurity Center of Excellence, IBM Trusteer Pinpoint Detect, announced on October 27, 2016, seamlessly builds profiles of user gestures in real-time and analyzes these behavioral biometric patterns against learned user behavior and known fraud patterns.
