Clinical Genomic Analysis Workshop 2011
June 2, 2011
Organized by IBM Haifa Research Lab

Invitation

You are cordially invited to participate in a one-day clinical genomic analysis workshop, to be held Thursday, June 2, 2011 at the IBM Haifa Research Lab, located on the University of Haifa campus in Haifa, Israel.

The domain of personalized health and genome-based therapy has flourished in recent years due to the significant reduction in costs of information storage devices and genome testing and with the major advances related to genome testing tools. Data mining and machine learning techniques have been applied to decipher the relationship between clinical status and genomic variations. Different approaches have been used in recent years to address these questions, from linkage analysis to populations studies and genome wide association studies. This workshop covers recent research in these areas along with proposals of novel directions in the field of clinical genomic analysis such us the recent vision of reconstructing the human cell lineage tree.

The seminar will take place in the auditorium (room L100) of the HRL site on the Haifa University campus from 10:00 to 16:30. Lunch and light refreshments will be served. Participation is free but registration is required.

Please confirm your participation by May 31, via the seminar website: http://www.haifa.il.ibm.com/Workshops/cga2011/registration.shtml
