Hyatt Regency Cambridge

Our conference hotel this year is the Hyatt Regency Cambridge. It is the only hotel where we will provide shuttles to and from the MIT Samberg Conference Center on Monday and Tuesday. If you are a Student involved in an AIHN project, IBM will make your hotel reservation for you and will cover that cost as described in your invitation. All other attendees will need to make their own hotel reservation, at the Hyatt Regency Cambridge or at any hotel of their choice.

Ground transportation

Public transportation

Boston’s public transportation system, the MBTA, known as “the T”, was the first subway in the United States and continues to be one of the easiest ways to get around Boston/Cambridge. Public transportation fares and schedules may be found at the MBTA website, and the closest Subway and Bus stops are listed on this website directions for getting to MIT.

Directions

  • Event Shuttle: We will have a shuttle service (10 minutes) between the conference hotel and the Samberg Conference Center – details will be shared in your event confirmation email, approximately 1 week before the event start date.
  • Walking to the Samberg Conference Center: It takes between 20 and 30 minutes to walk between the Hyatt Regency Cambridge and the MIT Samberg Conference Center
  • Cab Rides: A cab ride between the Hyatt Regency Cambridge and the MIT Samberg Conference Center will cost approximately $12-$15 and will take approximately 10 minutes.
  • Driving to the Samberg Conference Center: Parking in Cambridge and Boston can be expensive and hard to find. Whenever possible, leave your car at the hotel. If you must drive, the MIT campus map has directions for getting to MIT.

Parking

On- and off-street parking is available for a fee, but most public parking is not very close to the center of the MIT campus. More parking information is available from Parkopedia.
