Research Intern

I am a doctoral candidate at the Computer Graphics Department of the University of Rostock in Germany. Having originally focused on discrete math and theoretical computer science, I soon became enticed by graph theory, especially graph drawing and finally wandered off into graph visualization. These days, I apply and extend my graph visualization experience in collaboration with biologists and medical scientists within the interdisciplinary graduate school DIEM OSIRIS. So, my recent work is often done in a bioinformatics or life science context. Past work experiences include the UI design for a Document Lifecycle Management System and the development of mobile e-manuals for handheld devices.
