This project targets the research and development of meshing techniques, which discrete 2D/3D regions into sets of small triangular (or quadrilateral) elements, and their applications to CAD and CG. This project has been started when we proposed the Bubble Mesh method , which automatically generates well-shaped triangular meshes. Recently we are focusing quadrilateral meshing, which is much more difficult than triangular meshing, and we have proposed the
for generating well-shaped and well-aligned quadrilateral meshes. This project have also demonstrated their various techniques at
that is the world-largest conference for computer graphics technology.
Details of the project are here.
