How do I check the version of my Accessibility Internet Browser for Multimedia?

From the menu, select Help > About aiBrowser for Multimedia...; then the version information will appear in the dialog box.

How do I install Version 1.01 or update to it?

If this is the first installation of Accessibility Internet Browser for Multimedia:

  1. Simply install Version 1.01 of Accessibility Internet Browser for Multimedia.

If Version 1.0.0 is installed, and user annotation functions have not been used:

  1. Uninstall Version 1.0.0 using Control panel > Add or remove programs. Choose Accessibility Internet Browser for Multimedia from the list.
  2. Install Version 1.01.

If Version 1.0.0 is installed, and user annotation functions have been used:

  1. In order to back up annotation data, copy all files in a data directory of annotations. If you do not need to back up annotation data, you can use the instructions for Case 2. In default settings, the data directory is as follows:
    C:\Program Files\IBM\aiBrowser\workspace\.metadata\
        .plugins\com.ibm.accessibility.xmlstore\user_temp\
  2. Uninstall Version 1.0.0 using Control panel > Add or remove programs. Choose Accessibility Internet Browser for Multimedia from the list.
  3. Install Version 1.01.
  4. Launch Accessibility Internet Browser for Multimedia.
  5. Import each backed-up file by choosing Import Fennec data... from the menu.
