AAC Advance Audio Coding, one of the coding standards adapted in MPEG-2 and MPEG-4, ISO/IEC 13818-7. It has a better compression ratio and audio quality than MPEG-2 Layer 3.
AC3 A compression coding method developed by Dolby Laboratories for multiple channels of audio, which can reproduce a maximum of 5.1 channels, namely, three channels for the front, two channels for the rear, and 0.1 channel (super-woofer) for low frequency reproduction.
