Yuriko Sawatani is a manager of Innovation Informatics, IBM Research. This
is a new area to focus on business level of research, such as value modeling,
business service design, business performance management, customer behavior
understanding, innovation creation, etc... by studying business, enterprises
and those customers. These projects will be one of new research projects
under Services Sciences, Management & Engineering (SSME).
Jobs in IBM:
Yuriko Sawatani joined IBM in a SW development organization and led object technology projects in Asia Pacific. She initiated grid and autonomic computing strategy in Asia Pacific technical operation. She moved to a research organization appointed as a personal systems manager in Tokyo Research laboratory (TRL). She took an assignment to Watson, IBM Research as a headquarter staff, and was transferred to IBM Business Consulting Services as an On Demand Innovation Services (ODIS) manager. She came back to research to lead business design research in TRL.
