My current research focuses include performance optimization in various runtime systems
such as XML/Web Services, PHP runtime, and more distributed systems such as Grid. Since 2009,
I also have started to work on new hot research area called data streaming processing system.

I received my BS, M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Dept. of Mathematical and Computing Sciences of Tokyo Institute of Technology (1999, 2001 and 2004 respectively). During the Ph.D program, I spent about
one and half year as a visiting researcher at San Diego SuperComputing Center., Innovative Computing Laboratory led by Prof. Jack Dongarra, and Extreme Laboratory of Indiana University. I had been a research fellow of JSPS (Japan Society for the Promotion
of Science) from 2002 to 2005 for three years.
