Ryuki Tachibana is a researcher at Tokyo Research Laboratory of IBM Japan. He received his B.E. and M.E. in aerospace engineering from the University of Tokyo, Japan, in 1996 and 1998, and his Dr. Eng. degree from Osaka University in 2007. Since he joined IBM Japan in 1998, his main research interests have been in the field of digital watermarking and text-to-speech synthesis. In 2003, he was awarded the Digital Watermarking Industry Gathering Event's Best Paper Award at Security and Multimedia Contents V of Electronic Imaging 2003.
Taijiquan
I started Taijiquan in 1998 shortly after I joined the company. I am learning forms that use a double-edged Taiji sword and a single-edged sabor as well as Taijiquan. Now I am at the second rank of Taijiquan. I am a member of Yamato Taijiquan Association and managing its website (in Japanese).
