Tohru Nagano


Short Bio

Tohru Nagano is a staff researcher at Tokyo Research Laboratory of IBM Japan. His current research focuses on text-to-speeh synthesis. He received his B.E. and M.E. in electronics and information sciences from the University of Tsukuba, Japan, in 1996 and 1998, where he studied application of artificial intelligence and adaptive systems. Since he joined IBM Japan in 1998, his main research interests have been in the fields of text mining, natural language processing, and speech technologies. He is a member of the IPSJ and the ASJ.
