the non-stop key/value store processing with continuously availability.
Research Interests
-
High Performance Transaction Processing:
We have built the transactional cache for high performance transaction processing. In current web-based systems, one of the greatest obstacles for performance is database processing. By using our transactional cache, transactions are processed with few database processing. -
Distributed Computing
I studied distributed computing at university. The main topics were performance estimation methods for MPI programs. Hopefully this knowledge will be applied to my current projects.
Personal
Aside from my research, I have a great passion for Japanese sweets and tennis.
- My current favorites are Dorayaki from Ueno Usagiya, Daifuku from Okano Eisen Toranomon and Ann-Pann (Japanese red bean filled bun) from Matoba!! If you are in Japan, I strongly recommend to try them all!!!
- Tennis is very exciting sports. Many people of this lab. play tennis. Of course I am one of them. I like playing tennis and recently watching professional games. My dream is to watch all tournaments of the Grand Slam on each spot.
