Akiko Murakami joined IBM Research - Tokyo (a.k.a Tokyo Research Laboratory, IBM Research) in 1999 as a reseacher. She graduated from Waseda University 1998 and received a Master's in Applied Physics from Waseda University in 1999. She is currently a researcher in Knowledge Infrastructure group in IBM Research - Tokyo.
Her research interests lie in the area of Social Analytics, which allow us to analyze users' interests and trends via users created contents and behaiviours.
