After getting out of the baggage claim area, you will find a counter that says "Airport Limousine Bus Service" in orange. There you can buy the ticket for the next limousine bus to TCAT (pronounced tee-cat), or Tokyo City Air Terminal. The ride is about 70 min. and costs 2900yen. When you get off the bus at TCAT, please claim your baggage which you checked in at Narita. From TCAT to the Akasaka Prince Hotel, please take a taxi; the ride is about 20 minutes.
You will be able to find the subway entrance of Nagatacho at the large intersection of Akasaka, after crossing a bridge.
The train fare to Chuo Rinkan is 490 yen.
There are two subway lines which pass through Nagatacho, the Hanzomon line(purple) and the Yurakucho line (yellow). Please take the Hanzomon line (purple) towards the direction of Chuo Rinkan. It will automatically become Den-en-toshi line after going above ground at Futako Tamagawa station. You will be taking this subway all the way to the last stop, Chuo Rinkan station. It will be about an hour's ride.
From Chuo Rinkan, you can catch a cab to our lab (660yen). If you know which building you will be visiting, A-building or B-building, you should tell the driver so that he will bring you to the entrance of that building. (TRL is located in the B-building.) At the lobby, please ask the receptionist to call the extention number of the person you are visiting.
If you wish to walk from Chuo Rinkan or Tsukimino (one stop before Chuo Rinkan, but the express train doesn't stop), please refer to the map below.
From the Akasaka Prince Hotel, please take a taxi to TCAT. You can purchase your tickets for the limousine bus to Narita on the 2nd floor. (If you'd like, you can check-in at the airline counter on the 1st floor before you go buy your tickets; this may save you time at Narita and you will be freed of your baggages.)
