Research at Tokyo Research Laboratory (TRL) ranges from mobile devices and liquid crystal displays to user interface, Internet-related technologies, and deep computing. Work at TRL has led to the development of numerous core technologies for IBM products and solutions. TRL aims to realize and promulgate its vision of a better society through research on and development of advanced information processing technologies.
TRL closely collaborates with the seven other IBM research labs and works jointly with research institutes, universities, and scientific societies all over the world. Researchers and developers often visit TRL, not only from other IBM laboratories, but also from other scientific institutions. These visitors engage in mid/long-term projects with TRL researchers. What's more, TRL encourages interaction with research community by offering a short-term intern program and frequent seminars presented by instructors invited from universities.
TRL is ready to offer career opportunities to new graduates and to the experienced throughout the year. Please apply if you are interested in challenging the development of innovative technologies.
