Services Sciences, Management and Engineering
Throughout history, new academic disciplines have been created as a result of close collaboration among academia, government and industry. To continue to improve and evolve its services business, IBM needs to work with leading universities and other thought leaders on the development of Services Sciences, Management and Engineering (SSME). By hosting, sponsoring and attending events related to services innovation, IBM has begun to form a community around the advancement of SSME. Some of the active participants outside of IBM include:
