HotVideo, 1996-
To experience six new entertaining and informative virtual tours of Jonesboro
County, the inspiration for Gone with The Wind, we have interactive video
clips that provide background and historical perspectives to the film,
as well as link to scenes from Gone Withe The Wind.
"HotVideo is a special multimedia technology created by IBM that makes it possible
for people to interact with a video clip over the Web rather than just
watch it passively. It works by making use of hotlinks that a user can
click on right inside the video clip as it plays. These hotlinks will appear
as highlighted areas over the video, that when engaged, will link you to
static information related to the object you clicked on, another video
clip, an audio clip, or another Web page altogether. And it's all easily
controlled with the mouse."
