Hotel Reservations

The Fairmont has informed us that they are full. Apparently there is a dentist convention at the same time as POPL. It is possible that some rooms may open at the Fairmont and they are required to offer them to people who mention ACM at the $120 rate. You will probably be more comfortable there, and the rate is a very substantial discount on their normal rates. Their number is 1-800-527-4727

Many hotels in that area are fairly expensive. Travel agencies can probably find some cheap rates. I used Mapquest and was able to find a large number of close hotels., some of which have fairly cheap rates. One hotel said they were a 10 minute walk from the Fairmont, and had a few rooms ranging from $115 to $130.
