| Abstract | We developed a steerable interface system that can direct graphical displays to any desirable locations, can capture interactions at any desirable locations, and can track user locations in a 3-dimensional space. This paper discusses a retail store application where we applied this set of advanced technologies to brings more information to users in the shopping context. The paper presents the design challenges for this new interaction paradigm and reports the findings from our design walk-through sessions with users. |
