Call for Tutorials

PLDI is a forum where researchers, developers, educators, and practitioners exchange information on the latest practical and experimental work in the design and implementation of programming languages. The tutorial program enhances the technical program by providing a day of half-day or full-day tutorials offered in parallel tracks. Tutorials for PLDI 2008 are solicited on any topic relevant to the PLDI audience.  In particular, tutorials that strive to do one of the following have been particularly successful in the past:

Submission Procedures

Submissions should be in text or pdf form, sent via email to Michael Hind (hindm@us.ibm.com) with the following information:

·        Title

·        Presentor and contact information

·        Proposed duration (full day, half day)

·        1-2 paragraph abstract suitable for tutorial publicity

·        1-3 page description (for evaluation).  This should include the objectives, topics to be covered, presentation philosophy (if any), target audience, and prerequisite knowledge

·        1 paragraph biography suitable for tutorial publicity
