I am a member of the Numerical
Analysis Group in the Mathematical
Sciences
Department at IBM's T.J.
Watson Research Center. I have a BS in Engineering
Science from The Pennsylvania State
University,
and a PhD in Applied Mathematics
from The California Institute of
Technology.
My basic research interest is nonlinear systems, especially bifurcation
theory and continuation methods.
New: My continuation code
"Multifario"
is now available under an Open Source license from SourceForge
My current projects are
- Continuation
methods for computing solution manifolds in dynamical systems
- Computing invariant manifolds in flows
- Computing
Invariant Manifolds by Integrating Fat Trajectories, SIADS, v4(4),
pages 832--882.
