Semantic Search on the Object Table

Objects at the semantic level are defined by extracting the appropriate features from the image data and labeling them using a supervised classifier For satellite imagery, objects include bodies of water, urban areas, forests, etc.

Both image insertion and object definition trigger object extraction events. When an object type is newly defined, the associated objects are extracted from the images in the archive. When an image is inserted into the archive, predefined object types are extracted from this image and stored in the database.
