Data Mining

Our research interests in Data Mining include fundamental algorithms, performance and accuracy, and their applications.

In the algorithm domain, some of our research work involves high-performance and parallel algorithms for association rules and Neural-Network Classication. We are also studying the accuracy and interestingness of Classification and Clustering.

We are also performing very interesting research in the applications of data mining. Some of our recent work in this area include Collaborative Filtering for a supermarket Chain, Classification and Clustering for a Credit Reporting Agency, Classification of Olympics data and Mining of Hospital patient records.
