Global security analysis lab

Based in New York and Zurich, we study network security systems and techniques to provide IBM and its customers with the most up to date information on keeping their systems safe.

Our worldwide team of network security analysts can conduct preventive threat analysis for customers. We use known break-in techniques -- including those acquired from actual incidents -- to probe for weak links in the customer's system, and use the results to recommend ways to improve security. We work with the I/T Security Consulting Practice and the Emergency Response Service .

We also develop security tools and models to support our work. This way we continually enhance IBM's security offerings and provide state-of-the-art solutions to customers.
