We are a growing team of over 25 computational scientists and engineers, experts in data-centric cognitive computing, working in collaboration with domain experts based at the STFC Hartree Centre at Daresbury Laboratory. Our research is motivated by today’s most pressing challenges of UK industries and institutions. We bring cutting-edge computational science and engineering and applicable technologies, such as data-centric cognitive computing, to boost growth and development of the UK economy.
The Hartree Centre is approximately equidistant from Warrington and Runcorn town centres in the north west of England. The Hartree Centre is approximately 1 mile along the A56, in the north easterly direction, from junction 11 of the M56 motorway.

Manchester and Liverpool John Lennon international airports are approximately a 30 minute drive away from the Hartree Centre. Taxis are available upon arrival from both airports. Rail travel to Warrington and Runcorn railway stations is also possible from both airports.
Regular train services pass through Runcorn, Warrington Bank Quay and Warrington Central stations. Please check railway time tables for details. Local bus services and taxis are available for transfers to the Hartree Centre from these stations. It is approximately a 15 minute transfer from these stations by taxi to the Hartree Centre.
