Ma Bell
This animation has more specific action in it than "A Man" or "Life". There is a protagonist (little MCI), a nasty antagonist (the looming Momma Bell), and a savior (the kindly judge). There is a plot (increasing peril, dramatic resolution). Do you feel that you are watching a story unfold, as in a movie? Or do you just get the meaning from the words without having their movement or color impact your understanding of the story? Watching this animation, does it make you feel that you understand what happened with the telephone company breakup? Does it tell the story more compactly than a press report would? Does it hide crucial facts? Is it the most complete view? You can begin to see how the compacting of information that goes on when crafting a story can both aid in comprehension and misrepresent the full facts.
