Ms. Case holds a B.A. degree in philosophy and a Master's degree in library science. She has worked in academic, public, and special libraries. She currently works as a search-system and interface designer for the Legislative Information System (LIS), a closed system available only to members of Congress and their staffs. She is a member of the W3C XML Query Working Group and the Full-Text Task Force.
