Technology for e-businessVol. 40, No. 1, 2001
Order No. G321-0140 |
|
With the growth in the use of the Internet, businesses more and more become e-businesses handling many transactions on the Web. The Java programming language, the Extensible Markup Language (XML), and transcoding are among the technologies supporting the infrastructure for e-business. In this issue, ten papers and an overview essay present some of the ways in which these three technologies enhance the capabilities of e-business as they emerge into wider use. A separate paper describes the use of in-process metrics for software development. |
