Vadim Gerasimov

Mr. Gerasimov is a Ph.D. candidate at the MIT Media Laboratory. He codeveloped the game Tetris at age 16, then received his undergraduate degree in applied mathematics from the Moscow State University and his M.S. degree in Media Arts and Sciences from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has been studying and working at the Media Laboratory since 1994.
Walter Bender

Mr. Bender is a senior scientist at the MIT Media Laboratory and principal investigator of the laboratory's News in the Future consortium. He received the B.A. degree from Harvard University in 1977 and joined the Architecture Machine Group at MIT in 1978. He received the M.S. degree from MIT in 1980. Mr. Bender is a founding member of the Media Laboratory.
