Deepa Viswanathan

Ms. Viswanathan is at present working as a software engineer with Extricity Software, a provider of business-to-business e-commerce software. Prior to that she worked at Sun Microsystems in the Java run-time group. She received an M.S. in computer science from Indiana University in 1997 and a B.S. in computer science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, India, in 1995.
Sheng Liang

Dr. Liang is a member of the Java team at Sun Microsystems and is a leading expert in Java virtual machine technologies. He led the Java virtual machine development for the first release of the Java 2 Platform and is the author of the Addison-Wesley Java Series book on the Java Native Interface. He holds a Ph.D. in computer science from Yale University.
