Ms. Harris is a member of
the IBM Solutions Consulting and Integration Practice. Currently, she is the
program manager for ESS; she joined the team in 1997 to lead ESS deployment.
Her career in IBM has spanned many roles, including instructor, technical
specialist, lead systems engineer on enterprise accounts, sales, and
management. She received a B.Sc. degree in mathematics from City University,
London.
John W. Rothwell

Mr. Rothwell is a certified
senior consulting IT architect in the e-Business Architecture Consulting
Practice, based in Toronto, Canada. He works as a lead architect in consulting
engagements in the banking, insurance, and retail industries. For the past two
years he has worked as a key core team member of the ESS project, bringing
current experience from our client engagements to help shape the content and
structure of the ESS assets. Prior to his involvement with the ESS project, Mr.
Rothwell worked as a consultant in client/server computing, where he coauthored
and taught function and data placement and design classes. Previously he worked
as a senior consulting systems engineer for several clients in the petroleum,
retail, insurance, banking, and utilities industries, with expertise in
database systems. He worked in the area of database performance on the early
relational database systems and published performance papers for the DB2®
(DATABASE 2TM) group at the IBM Santa Teresa Laboratory. Mr. Rothwell is a
registered Professional Engineer in Ontario; he received a degree in chemical
engineering from the University of Waterloo.

Mr. Lloyd is a consulting IT architect in the
IBM United Kingdom Object Technology Practice. He led the ESS Technical
Architecture team from its inception in 1996, and subsequently became team
leader for overall ESS development. Currently, he is lead architect for the ESS
Operations team. He previously worked as enterprise systems engineer and
solutions project consultant for several large IBM enterprise clients in the
government, retail, and utilities industries, as technical architect on a large
insurance solutions development project, and as regional specialist in various
subject areas, including large systems hardware and software, mass storage
systems, and office systems. Other areas of experience include the application
of image processing and workflow in enterprise-scale solutions. He received a
B.Sc. degree in theoretical physics from Manchester University.
