Michael Massey
MIT Media Laboratory, 20 Ames Street, Cambridge, Massachusetts 02139-4307 (electronic mail: mmassey@media.mit.edu). Dr. Massey is a recent graduate of MIT's Media Lab, where he learned digital video production and applied video image processing techniques to create expressive still images. He has worked as a freelance photojournalist and documentary photographer for ten years. He received a Ph.D. in Raman spectroscopy and solid state physics from the University of Michigan in 1992.
Walter Bender
MIT Media Laboratory, 20 Ames Street, Cambridge, Massachusetts 02139-4307 (electronic mail: walter@media.mit.edu). Mr. Bender is a principal research scientist at the MIT Media Laboratory and principal investigator of the laboratory's News in the Future consortium. He recieved the B.A. degree from Harvard University in 1977 and joined the Architecture Machine Group at MIT in 1978. He received the M.S. degree from MIT in 1980. Mr. Bender is a founding member of the Media Laboratory.
