Fostering a culture of innovation & collaboration: Pre InnovationJam at the Lab
IBM India Research Lab, both Delhi and Bangalore locations, created much excitement about the Innovation Jam and successfully conducted a unique day-long session of Pre-Innovation Jam I & II. This served as a precursor to prepare people for the Online Innovation Jam that started later on the day. Awareness was built for the Jam through 1:1 calls, group meetings, e-mails, posters, stickers, T-Shirts, Rubic Cubes, PA announcements and Prizes for the best of the ideas. The event was a blend of fun and innovation interspersed with pizzas, ice-creams, sodas and snaxs: beautiful minds coming together to foster collaboration and generate brilliant ideas in the process. We rolled in the process by urging people to participate & brainstorm in large numbers on broad focus areas not limited to: Going Places, Staying Healthy, Better Planet and Finance & Commerce. Employees along with some of their family members responded well in the Jam in an exciting way. The process was spread over the next three days.
