The India Industry Solutions Lab Unveiled
The opening of the India Industry Solutions Lab (IISL) at New Delhi, reaffirms IBM's continued support towards innovation. Modelled after the successful ISLs in Hawthorne and Zurich, the IISL is co-located within IBM’s India Research Laboratory, New Delhi.
IISL offers a unique environment for clients to learn and experience state-of-the-art solutions and thought leadership from IBM industry experts and researchers. The solutions will span across industries with valuable insights into tomorrow’s technologies. Whether client’s issues are around innovation, infrastructure, or integration, IISL helps showcase IBM’s ability to deliver solutions to help our clients be successful.
India is an integral part of IBM’s global strategy. And, the decision to open an Industry Solutions Lab in India is reinforces IBM’s commitment to support its clients in India in gaining the competitive edge to be leaders in their own fields. IISL will cater to the growing client needs of the Indian domestic market as well as the broader Asia Pacific region. With this launch, IBM clients in India, a powerful emerging market, will benefit from this integrated facility to support or completely transform their businesses.
IISL has a world-class exhibit floor that will initially support nearly 40 solutions. The solutions will address client needs across all sectors with specific focus on Automotive, Banking, Chemicals & Petroleum, Energy & Utilities, Government, Healthcare, Retail and Telecom industries.
An ideal forum for clients to explore innovative ways to increase their organizations’ unique market advantages, IISL will help clients not only explore and discover how innovative solutions and cutting-edge technology can help solve business challenges, but also help them seize new growth opportunities.
IISL, like the other Industry Solution Labs across the world, is also ideally placed to showcase First-of-a-Kind (FOAK) projects. First-of-a-Kind (FOAK) projects result from bringing IBM researchers, clients, and partners together in the marketplace to leverage tomorrow's innovative technologies in addressing today's real business problems. Some examples of FOAK projects available at IISL include Telematics Data Protection, Operational Risk Quantification and Symbiotic Context-Oriented Information Retrieval (SCORE).
