To encourage cutting-edge research in Indian academia, IBM has instituted an India-specific version of the global IBM Faculty Awards program. The IBM India Faculty Awards are designed to recognize and sustain early research momentum of Indian faculty members and are administered primarily by IBM India. In addition to research, these awards also recognize contributions to curriculum development and teaching, open source software, etc.
A goal of these awards is to enable further work by the awardees that can be nominated for the global IBM Faculty Awards program.
|
Who can apply: |
The awards are open to all Indian faculty members doing promising research or making valuable contributions to course ware, curriculum development, teaching, open source software, etc., irrespective of their career stage. |
How to apply: |
Faculty are normally nominated to these awards by IBM employees. Your best approach would be to make your work visible to IBMers who are professionally up-to-date with your technical area and also develop collaborations with IBM where possible.
