CII Innovation Roundtable on the US-India’s changing innovation systems
"Setting up an innovation culture in companies and countries is imperative, and India is no exception - for this to happen collaboration holds the key," said Director, IBM India Research Lab. "Many of the recommendations of the NII are also relevant to India, and innovation is going to be the key to India’s success." He was speaking at the "Roundtable on the United States’ and India’s Changing Innovation Systems: An Agenda for Action" held in New Delhi on Oct 26 2006. The speech on The Value of Innovation in the 21st Century which was widely appreciated. The Roundtable was organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in partnership with The U.S. National Academies. The objective of the Roundtable was to strengthen U.S.-Indian partnerships on best practices on innovation and other areas of S&T cooperation. The thrust was on the need to cooperatively develop advanced technologies that support the development of dynamic, knowledge-based economies.
