A member of the group, Dr. Joan L. Mitchell, in 1992 co-authored a
book about JPEG. In 1993 she became a consulting editor for Van
Nostrand Reinhold (later transferred to Chapman & Hall and most
recently to Kluwer Academic Publishers).
