Research Contribution
The HRL team has been collaborating with the STG AIX development lab in Austin to provide management capabilities for WPARs.
The Haifa team contributed the following:
- Participated in the overall architecture and design of the WPAR Manager application
- Developed the WPAR Manager's server-side Orchestrator component, responsible for the orchestration of complex management events
- Contributed also to the agent-side components
- Provided technical leadership for the architecture and implementation of the WPAR Management support in IBM Director
- Contributed to the emerging DMTF CIM model of WPAR, influenced the Director data model for the WPAR support, and designed all server and agent aspects of the integration (object model, discovery, orchestration etc.)
