Using the Nokia WAP Server and the Nokia WAP Toolkit, we have developed a demo application for ordering pizza and beverages by cellular phone. This demo is written in WML (Wireless Markup Language) and WMLScript, so that the interface is appropriate for the limited space of a cellular phone screen.
The demo illustrates the capabilities of WAP hosting. It provides user-friendly, guided access to the ordering system and uses profiling information to determine the user's location for delivery. Billing and secure payment technologies allow easy selection of payment method.
