Overview
BizTalk to WBI Migration is a set of tools and methodologies being developed at IBM Haifa Labs that can be used to migrate existing Microsoft BizTalk Server solutions into an IBM-based WebSphere Business Integration environment. Business integration is currently one of the hottest competition points in the IT world. Integrating the IT infrastructure across the business is essential when addressing the flexibility required in today's business world. As part of IBM's effort to increase its market share in the small and medium business environment (SMB), this project examines the set of tools required to support seamless and straightforward migration from a Microsoft-based information technology (IT) infrastructure to an open standard IBM-based IT.
Features of the BizTalk to WBI Migration Toolset
- A GUI-based set of wizards for migrating BizTalk artifacts into the WBI Server Express (SE) environment
