What is CEDI?
The Center of Excellence for Data Integration (CEDI) helps clients, IBM professional services, and business partners increase the impact and effectiveness of strategic data integration initiatives. This is achieved by applying proven architecture, software, and methodology, standard practices, and deep field expertise to lay the foundations for the implementation of repeatable and strategic programs for clients.
The IBM CEDI program offers a set of service offerings provided as mentoring sessions or workshops, designed specifically to meet individual customer needs. These service offerings cover a range of competencies within the area of data integration, including:
- Deep software/technology implementation mentoring
- Standard practices and methodology workshops
- Information server: product migrations
- Information server: grid and high availability architectures
- Information server: metadata strategy
- Virtual services
- Data integration with SAP

Skill and Expertise
The CEDI EMEA team members in Jerusalem use a wide range of skills to deliver CEDI offerings directly to clients, and enable local IBM professional services, consulting teams, and business partners.
Our team's areas of expertise include metadata strategy and migrations, as well as education and mentoring in IBM's IP&S products and technologies. All team members are certified in DataStage Enterprise Edition and are undergoing additional product certifications in H1 2007.
Ongoing Projects
Our consultants are actively engaged in data integration initiatives for a number of clients, including the Bank of Austria, DHL in the Czech Republic, and DaimlerChrysler.
