The Document Processing and Management group at the IBM Haifa Research Lab conducts research and development in the field of document and image processing for strategic IBM business domains. These areas include services based on efficient data entry and data acquisition processes, services strategy, advanced productivity enhancement tools, application software for the IBM retail business, IBM printers business, and more.

Solutions developed by the group are designed to fit the specific requirements of each project. This includes the adaptation of former technologies as well as the development of novel technologies. The team is involved in many development projects for internal IBM business units as well as external customers.
