Description:
This position involves working as a software developer on the IBM Israel Software Lab team in Rehovot. The selected candidate will join the Rational Rhapsody team, developing new features and improving existing capabilities to the leading model-driven-development platform targeting the domain of systems development. The selected candidate will work with other software engineers, team leaders, and development managers, as well as QA engineers. This position may also include interaction with other departments such as Support and Field Engineers, and customers using our product.
Requirements:
Candidates must have knowledge of either C++/Java development with OOD, knowledge in both is advantage. Experience in developing real-time applications and working with real-time operating systems are advantages, as well as familiarity with Eclipse plug-in development.
Candidates should be passionate about their work and be able to take initiative and exhibit creativity while working on a complex legacy systems. Good communication skills and the ability to articulate ideas well in writing are required.
Education:
B.Sc. in computer science from accredited universities or colleges (MICHLALA). An M.Sc. is an advantage.
Final projects that included work on Eclipse and/or real-time systems are advantages.
