Position and responsibilities:
The test engineer will be responsible for execution and maintenance of automated scripts. The scripts are developed by the automation team and delivered to the engineer for execution. The engineer is required to execute these scripts across system releases being tested (up to 3 parallel releases concurrently). The engineer is expected to maintain the scripts by investigating faults and defects found during the execution, reporting detailed execution status as well as reporting test / system / IT issues and resolving them to the furthest extent possible. The engineer should be capable to understand the scripts and the system under test and perform changes when needed as the system and test environment evolve. The position also requires high degree of time self-management, reporting capabilities great interpersonal skills when working with fellow testers, developers and project managers.
Requirements:
- BSc. in computer science / software engineering from a well known academic institute or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of testing experience of enterprise-level software products
- Excellent knowledge in software testing methodology (test processes, defect management, testing document: STP, STD etc);
- Proven script programming experience (Java, Python,Tcl/Tk, Perl)
- Knowledge of the software development world: development life-cycle, etc.
- Excellent English skills, self learner
- Excellent graduates will be considered
