The IBM IL Storage Systems Development Labs are looking for an experienced python developer who can develop applications in a productive development environment. Team's responsibility includes partnering with the STG ITC, development, QA and development support departments, designing, building and maintaining tools to automate installation and managing large data centers environment with various types of equipment plus enablement of various productivity and automated tools.

This position focuses mostly on the "backend" code, although experience with "frontend" technology is required. Technologies we use on a daily basis include Python, Django, Linux (mostly CentOS, Redhat and Ubuntu), MySQL, PostgreSQL, memcached, celery, nginx, rabbitmq, redis, gunicorn, jQuery. Our primary source control system is git.

Project's scope includes developing performance oriented applications with emphasis on reusable, scalable and distributed high performance applications on-top of high level OO programming languages. Candidate should have experience working in Web frameworks, proven knowledge of Python, Linux, and Network environments
